Love is Eternal
Love is Eternal
The strength and beauty of love is long lasting
The emotion of love never dies
Only the people involved change
A myriad of faces flowing one into another
Love searches, seeking for another heart to enter
Another life to fill
Love is not patterned
Its swift flow is free and unstructured
Like a melody it flows across space
Never to be halted by time or place
Reaching out it has touched me
Leaving me breathless in wonder
At the magic it has brought into my life
Love has colored my world in soft translucent shades of muted blue
Joyous in its quest for satisfaction
It has touched me and left me here
In love with you

Tranquility
This painting was magic for me. Much of the trees and rocks were things I carried the images of in my heart and mind. Even having the tree leaning over the water in the background was a spontaneous action on my part. My mother shared her love of nature with us and I was fortunate to have the eyes to see the beauty and diversity around me.
I pray this scene brings peace to you.
Sunset Cove
This work was a challenge in that the sunset light and the waves and rocks needed highlighting, but muted, instead of the normal daylight works I had done before.
I love how the sky turned out and every once in a while, I will see clouds just like these. It is a confirmation from God that I am on the right track, although nothing man does can ever equal the beauty of natural creation.
I love painting a place where the viewer can walk in and feel as though they are the only ones there. Enjoy!
Maine Moose
The background was swirled with fall colors and left in a stack of unfinished work until I discovered this moose on a calendar. I decided to have some fun and do an impressionistic background to the realistic moose. This work has been chosen for cards by the Moosehead Coffee Shop in Boothbay Harbor, Maine.
The moose is noble, though outwardly unattractive to some, and he brings joy to my heart when I look at him. Hope some of you feel the same way.
Sunset at Pemaquid Beach
We were needy of sand for a change and discovered this wonderful beach down the road from the Pemaquid lighthouse on Pemaquid island. Beth was in her element and Judy and I enjoyed her enjoying the beach. Later on, we watched the sun set and took photographs as the sun went down. This is my watercolor interpretation of that time.

Joyous Autumn
This is a watercolor I painted in Boothbay Harbor, ME in 2006. My friend, Beth, and I searched for natural flora and fauna and dipped it into our watercolor paint and applied some of the shapes to our paintings. Mine became an abstract and I love it; hence, the title "Joyous Autumn" as it was a magic time and uplifts my spirit each time I see it.
May it bless you, also
